Nova Clear is Modern Flames' most technically ambitious model — instead of a solid firebox behind glass, it uses patented laser projection to render the flame on a surface that stays over 80% transparent. The result is a fireplace that works as a genuine room divider: it reads as fire from both sides, with the room beyond still visible through it, rather than a wall-mounted box with a flame in front of a backdrop.
Because the flame is projected rather than built from LED strips behind a physical ember bed, Nova Clear suits open floor plans and dividing walls where a conventional fireplace would block sightlines entirely — a fit for the kind of open-concept builds common in newer Northwest Arkansas homes.

Nova Clear uses transparent laser-projection flame technology to create a true see-through fire in a single 48" unit, making it ideal for room dividers, kitchen islands, or a floating wall between two living spaces. It offers dual-zone heating with independently selectable front and back heat — up to 8,200 BTU on the 240V hardwired option, covering up to 1,000 sq. ft. — plus built-in media streaming with an HDMI input and internal device cavity, so a connected TV or streaming device can play right through the flame display.
