Orion Traditional Electric Fireplaces in Bentonville, AR

ORION TRADITIONAL • BENTONVILLE, AR

The traditional insert-style look; slides into an existing fireplace opening or installs as a built in.

BUILT-IN OR DROP-IN

Orion Traditional is Modern Flames' insert-style electric fireplace — built to look and sit exactly like the wood or gas log-set fireplace it's replacing, rather than the wall-mounted linear look of Orion Linear. It slides into an existing masonry or factory-built firebox opening, or installs new as a built-in, so the room keeps its familiar “fireplace in the wall” layout.

Every size runs Modern Flames' realistic flame and ember technology, with independently controllable flame color, brightness, and heat from a smartphone app or remote — so it looks convincing whether you're running the heater on a cold Bentonville evening or just the flame effect in July.

What is the Orion Traditional?

  • Available in 5 sizes: 26″, 30″, 36″, 42″, 54″

  • No chimney, flue, or gas line required

  • Glass face stays cool to the touch, unlike a real fire

  • Flame effect runs independently of the heater, year-round

FAQ

Orion Traditional Questions

Can Orion Traditional replace my existing wood-burning insert?

Yes — it's built to slide into a standard masonry or factory-built fireplace opening, so it's a direct like-for-like swap for homeowners retiring an old wood or gas insert.

Is the flame realistic enough to pass for a real fire?

Modern Flames' Hybrid-FX flame and ember bed technology is designed specifically to avoid the flat, video-loop look of older electric inserts — it's the main reason Orion carries the “most lifelike fire” branding.

How much does it cost to run?

Running the flame alone (heater off) costs only a few cents an hour. With the heater on, expect roughly $0.20–$0.25/hour at typical Arkansas electricity rates, depending on the size and thermostat setting.
